This ambitious project will try to emulate to Charles Lindberg, flying around the globe piloted by a single person,the airplane only use solar
energy to generate movement.
The prototype has been initiated by two Swiss that plane to fly around the globe.The airplane is fabricating completely in carbon fiber and photovoltaic sensors, to
capture the solar light. Of 85 meters.
When being they place setting of great part of its surface by detectors of
solar energy, will be able to generate during the day the energy
necessary to make work the 4 helices impel that it, and simultaneously
to store to the necessary energy for the flight nocturne.although there are at present models of solar airplanes with enough
autonomy, these are piloted by control, like the Zephyr, and oriented
towards a military use.
I think that if the engineers try to use these panels for airplanes whose flight would be long we save much energy and fuel . But i dont think that is good idea to only depend on that
energy, the airplanes should to have another source of energy
available in case of some failure in solar energy.

Wonderful proyect, in my opinion the idea of solar panels on the wings is amazing, because I think this can be use for comercial planes or any kind of fighter jets

ResponderEliminarIt's a very good idea. Airplanes consume a lot of fuel to work. We shoud take all the solar energy that we can, beacuse it's a natural resource which sooner or later will expire.
ResponderEliminarIt´s a good begining, but I think the goal is to create the solar airplane capable of flying with more people, I mean that in a future we ´ll be able to fly like in normal airplanes
