Nile virus spreads in U.S. for climate change

The disease ,discovered in Uganda in 1937, is transmitted from animal to humans.
About 80% of those infected have no symptoms.However,the remaining 19% have fever and headaches.The 1% suffers disorientation,coma and paralysis.
Nile virus was first detected in the U.S. in New York City in 1999.
Erin Staples,a medical epidemiologist at the CDC,told the BBC that the mild winter ,early spring and hot summer is promoting the breeding of mosquitoes that transmit the virus.
For this reason,epidemiologist expect many more infections this year.As yet there is no vaccine,warn adequate prevention.
Staples told use repellents when outside the homes,wear longs pants and sleeves. If u have screens, make sure they are in good conditions and verify that there is no standing water in which mosquitoes can breed more.
